Computer Graphics
For the better part of 2003 I worked as a Game Artist for Mad Doc Software, where my role
included concepting, modelling, texturing and animating monsters for the Dungeon Siege expansion "Legends of Aranna".
From 2000-2002 I worked as a "Character Builder" for Zoesis Studios. My role at Zoesis has required me to create 3D models, morph targets, texture maps, textures, background paintings and depth-buffer paintings.
Previously I had worked as a freelance CG artist for Anzovin Studios on the short film The Animator's Apprentice, and have co-instructed a character animation course for The University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
I spend free time honing my skills by making models for computer games such as Quake2 and Quake 3 Arena.
As examples of my work in computer graphics, I have included Lord Sandor - a low-poly player model for Quake III Arena, Misa Tinks - a cartoony spline model, and SuperMale - a plug-in player model for Quake2.
My computer graphics experience includes:
- Polygonal and Spline Modeling
- Character Animation
- UVW Texture Mapping
- Digital Painting
- Animatic Previsualization
I have experience using the following software:
- 3D Studio MAX R3
- Mirai 1.04
- Adobe Photoshop 5.5
- Hash Animation Master 8.1
