Mentor

For the last two years of my undergraduate career I was the mentor for the Computer Science Talent Advancement Program. That entailed living in a freshman dorm on a floor full of twenty-some-odd freshman computer science majors and showing them how to not screw up. As a testament to my success as mentor, among those under my tutelage a significantly fewer number dropped out, and a significantly greater number remained in the major than in previous years.
